This web page serves as the temporary web page home of the NGFFL. All owners should check this page regularly for new information until the official web site goes online by June, 1999.
The Name the Newsletter Poll Results: The online poll didn't seem to work for a number of people, so I got quite a few votes by email. The vote was close, but I've decided to go with
The Sideline Reporter as the name for the newsletter. Here are the results:
The Sideline Reporter (11)
After Further Review (7)
The Owner's Box (6)
Instant Replay (6)
No other choice solicited more than 3 votes. |

Can you say .....
36 ?
The NGFFL is officially a 36-team league!! I have added our 3rd 12-team league (12-19). I have 32 spots already confirmed, and will fill the other 4 plus add 4-6 Alternate Owners to take over spots as any become vacated during this off-season or in the '99 season. Look for more changes to come in the Constitution. I will have to
adjust the rules because of the system we've chosen to run our leagues (see below). I've already changed several things in the Constitution and on the "Who's in the League? page."
FFLNet from Fantasy
Insights
I have entered into a
long-term agreement with FFLNet to be
the permanent and Official Online
Management Services of the NGFFL. They
are donating their management services
for free (a $94.95 retail value per
year) to the NGFFL, and in return
we'll be proudly displaying their
banners on our web pages. FFLNet will
be making many off-season changes, but
if you want to start getting a feel for
how the system is set up, click here for info.
There is a demo page to play with, a
very detailed page called the Assistant
Coach that describes all the functions
of managing your team there, and an FAQ
page. I suggest you DO NOT wait
until June to go there and test it
out. I will email you when I set up the
leagues so you can set up and test your
new teams.
Can you say Prizes
